Pune Old City Heritage Walk
Pune Cantonment, popularly known as “Camp,” has long stood as one of the city’s most cosmopolitan neighbourhoods. Established during the British era as a military settlement, it evolved into a vibrant melting pot of diverse communities and cultures that have coexisted for generations. This has shaped its unique identity and rhythm of life.
The Cantonment Snack Walk takes you through this historic neighbourhood, where food reflects the area’s rich cultural blend. Old Irani cafés, century-old bakeries, street-side favourites and crowd favourites, the cuisine here is a true fusion of influences that have come together over time. As you wander through Camp’s bustling lanes, you’ll discover not just snacks and flavours, but also stories of a neighbourhood where different cultures have lived and thrived in harmony, leaving behind a delicious and ever-evolving food heritage.
The walk includes a fully guided walk with an English-speaking guide, unlimited food at all the eateries and entrance charges (wherever applicable).
